| 中文描述 | 壁蝨傳染熱是一種親吞嗜細胞邊蟲（從前為艾利希氏體）引起的反芻獸疾病，會侵犯嗜中性球和單核球。由蓖麻豆蝨（Ixodes ricinus）傳播，有出現在歐洲，印度，和南非的報告。這種疾病引起發燒和白血球減少症，其他症狀通常沒有或是輕微，但動物亦感染其他疾病。這種疾病有發生小牛子宮內感染的報告。 |
| 英文描述 | Tickborne fever is a disease of ruminants caused by ANAPLASMA PHAGOCYTOPHILA (formerly EHRLICHIA), which invades neutrophils and monocytes. It is transmitted by the tick IXODES RICINUS, and has been reported in Europe, India and South Africa. The disease causes a fever and leukopenia, and other signs are often absent or mild, but infection predisposes animals to other diseases. In-utero transmission of this disease to a calf was reported. |
